Therapy - Rosemary Norton

Psychosynthesis

Roberto AssagioliRoberto Assagioli, a psychiatrist, neurologist and pioneer of psychoanalysis, was the founder of psychosynthesis and worked with both Freud and Jung.

Assagioli recognised the need for meaning both in one's personal life but also in the world in which we live.

Psychosynthesis is a transpersonal psychology, a psychology with a soul. It offers an holistic approach to therapy and includes working with the body, mind and feelings, sexuality and spirituality.

How I work

Each person who chooses to work in therapy arrives with their own unique and individual story. I offer a safe and confidential space where your story can be heard, explored, valued and respected whilst offering tools to provide a deeper understanding of what could be holding you back from living the full and enriched life you desire.

My work is based upon psychosynthesis context and I use maps and models to help you recognise what your individual needs might be and how to release your potential. I will use psychosynthesis psychology to guide you into the realm of the unknown and beyond the world of ‘right and wrong, good and bad’; to evoke and connect you to your essence of being whole and unbroken. We will work together creating a therapeutic experience where your feelings and expressions can be held, recognised and understood. It is through this therapeutic relationship that we endevour to bring awareness and find meaning and purpose for living your life with joy and passion.
